Remembering Sebastien
On Tuesday, April 7, 2021, Sebastien Germain Jean-Jacques, loving, dependable, reliable and loyal son, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 21. He was born on April 4, 2000 at Boca Raton Memorial Hospital. He attended Panther Run Elementary School, Polo Park Middle School and Palm Beach Central High School. He was currently attending Palm Beach State College and preparing to leave for France on May 2nd to pursue his education in International Business, after celebrating his 21st birthday with friends and family. In his short memorable and impactful life, he profoundly touched everyone around him.
Those who came into contact with Sebastien’s loving and loyal heart understand the quality and intensity of his existence which far exceeded the short number of years he spent in this world. His charismatic smile, charm, loving and passionate nature brought so much joy and comfort to all of us. It didn’t take but 5 seconds to be around Sebastien to be captured by his warm spirit and nurturing personality. He was a leader to everyone old and young admired and relied on for encouragement, confidence, support and love. He was the defender of the defenseless and he would never hesitate to stand up for what is right and what he believed in. He was a legend in his own right!
He played defense for Palm Beach Central’s football team. Loved basketball, music, and being with his loved ones. To all his friends he was known as The Don, Don Vito, SB DON, and SB. To family he was our Babas, Seby, and Bashti.
Sebastien gave us all courage and hope. His favorite saying “More Life” serves as a constant reminder of the preciousness of time and the importance of living a life fulfilled.
